Coaching
Our approach to coaching is creating a supportive and collaborative space for individuals or small groups to make transformative change. It is powerful, short term and goal orientated work, that explores strategies to enable clients to learn and grow.
We believe people are resourceful, however life, circumstances or past experiences can create a block to accessing this inherent resourcefulness. This is a challenging but safe process that holds clients at the centre of the work and enables them to tap into their resourcefulness, whilst developing skills and confidence. All work is underpinned by the principles of Dare to Lead (Brene Brown certified accredited leaders), so prepare to dig deep. We guide with positive curiosity towards goals, using the most valid and current tools and resources.
We are progressing towards accreditation at Level 5 ILM Coaching & Mentoring, so our practice is some of the most current and rigorous out there.
Some of the goals our clients present with include:
-
Work place confidence and imposter syndrome
-
Career development
-
Managing relationships
-
Stepping into leadership roles

I have worked with Cheryl for over ten years. She is responsive and professional in her approach to our working relationship and a huge asset to our global business.

Cheryl has been working with Year 12 students on the issues of consent, harassment and abuse. She pitches it at a level that is appropriate for them and I receive great feedback from both staff and students.
Head of PSHE, Bradford Grammar School2022
Cheryl has been amazing. She provided a safe space to open up and discuss my own struggles without judgement. I felt I could have real open and honest conversations. I really liked how Cheryl would use questioning to encourage me to reflect and dig deep. We sometimes get so lost in our own thoughts that we believe them all to be true. When being questioned, it makes you think of alternative explanations which has been really helpful.

The session was interactive and the conversations on our tables and throughout the training room
encouraged me to really think about what we were discussing, and have a space to voice my
thoughts. My thoughts can often wander off in training, so this kept me on the ball.
The training was serious but there was room for a giggle which is always welcome.

I really enjoyed coaching. I was at ease all the way through and felt like I could share personal and work related matters without any issues. I was always given plenty of time to respond to questions and it never felt rushed. I would recommend everyone should be coached once to learn about themselves.
DK, South Yorkshire2024
Cheryl is very professional and knowledgeable and her sessions are interactive and informative. We will be asking Cheryl to return in the next academic year and look forward to developing more bespoke training with her for our wider teams.
